The following information describes the format, content and codes used by the Numeric Automotive Glass System (NAGS). The format and codes are developed and stablished exclusively by NAGS therefore, are registered property of that company.
The description of these codes is presented here as a service to our customers.

Prefix of type. (Positions 1 & 2) -- Identifies the vehicle as Domestic or Foreign (position 1),
and the location of the glass on the vehicle (position 2). The codes are listed below:
Numeric Code (positions 3 - 7) -- A five digit number assigned by NAGS to each glass in a vehicle.
Color Code (positions 8 & 9) -- Identifies color and shade of glass.
Attachment identifier (Position 10) -- Identifies wether an attachment is provided by the glass provider at the time of sale.
N (No) - Attachment is NOT provided.
Y (Yes) - Attachment IS provided.

Premium indicator (posicion 11) -- Identifies parts which are provided directly by the vehicle maker.
